New Jersey International Short Festival is dedicated to international short films and short screenwriting of all genres.
Our mission is to celebrate independent motion picture and literary arts by providing a platform for international filmmakers and writers to have their projects recognized, promoted, screened and awarded online.
Films can come from anywhere in the world.
Jury members include film scholars, filmmakers, critics and distributors from USA.

Films can be from anywhere in the world since the festival is an international competition.
The festival has the right to use a trailer, stills and a poster from the films for promotional purposes.
English subtitles are required for non-English films.
All films must be not older than year 2025.
The festival does not require World Premiere, but appreciates notification of World Premiere, International Premiere or New Jersey Premiere status.
Entry fees are in U.S. dollars, per film entry and are non-refundable.
Entries without entry fees will be disqualified. The festival does not give fee waivers.
